Sober College Academy is a residential program for young adults age 17 1/2 to 29 with chemical dependency and related issues. The curriculum builds competencies in Sobriety, Life Skills, Physical Fitness, Academics and Job Readiness.

Sober College Academy Partners with Learn 2 Surf LA.
Southern California local groups team up to show young adults in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction about riding the waves and how to have sober fun.

"We followed the surf lesson by attending the local 12-step Beach meeting. The experience falls right in line with our concept of combining recovery from drugs and alcohol with physical fitness and learning to have fun. For many of the guys it was also a lesson in trying something new and different and having a good time without having to get high."
