Therapeutic work at Sober College Academy includes:

• Experiential Based Therapeutic Activities

Therapeutic work at Sober College Academy is provided by licensed counselors and clinicians, certified addictions counselors, psychiatrists and trained clinical professionals.

During their stay, residents are involved in individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric support if needed, ongoing counseling and various experiential activities, including equine assisted psychotherapy. All work is performed by trained professionals.

Upon admission, all residents are evaluated through a customized assessment process based on their individual history, length of sobriety, performance in previous treatment settings and current level of stability. From this information a plan for the therapeutic work is developed.
