“I started using when I was 15. Now that I am 22, I missed out on that whole period of learning about getting my own apartment, finding a job, cooking meals, basically, the concept of taking care of myself independently.”

Sobriety will always be the first priority for Sober College participants. In addition to maintaining a healthy recovery lifestyle, Sober College provides the opportunity to excel in other areas and develop core competencies in five specific areas. Achievement in these five core competencies will give a young adult the best opportunity for long term success.

  • Life Skills - ability to manage stress and daily challenges;
  • Career - advancement in employment and/or education;
  • Emotional Well-Being - based on research of a Harvard University professor;
  • Fitness - incorporates physical and mental fitness;
