“I often times think about the three months I spent at Sober College and how beneficial it was to me. I really think the Sober College staff has put together a solid program to show young adults like myself that sobriety can be fun. “My experience at Sober College was a roller coaster for my emotions but always a steady improvement on my life. By the end of it, I was in such a good state, both mentally and physically, that I felt like a completely different person. I came to Sober College not knowing what I wanted, and the mentors and teacher really accepted that. They helped me see my options and lead me down the road that’s best, sobriety. It took me a few months to completely give myself to that, but it happened at the perfect time. I am now living with my parents, thanking God every day for all I learned at Sober College. I miss it though; I miss the people, the mentors with all their wisdom, the teachers with all their guidance, and the kids with so much hope. It’s hard to explain to someone who’s never been there because there is a sense of home that can’t be duplicated.
